RRAVS are proud to be working in partnership with the MegaCentre Rayleigh to bring a Volunteers Fair to the District on Thursday 29th September. A variety of local charities are coming together for the evening and invite the public to join us as we look to recruit much needed volunteers. There are a whole host of roles on offer to anyone looking to give a little time; this includes sporting roles, befriending, fundraising, IT support and horticultural opportunities to name just a few! We will be joined by Emily Middlemast from SAVS who will talk about the benefits of volunteering and guests can chat to a variety of charities and community groups who are in need of help. Catherine Hart, Volunteer Coordinator at RRAVS said

“Volunteers make such a difference to our local community and giving just a little time, or a little expertise, can be invaluable to local charities. Whether you have a few days a year, or a few hours a week, there’s a role for you! We welcome you to join us for a chat and a cuppa between 7pm and 9pm at the MegaCentre Rayleigh”
